As Seen On:

2019 Reindeer Romp 5K & 10K

Veterans are everyday heroes who fought to protect our families, friends, and communities. We are eternally grateful for the services these brave men and women provide for our country and continue to provide for their communities as they return home. Despite the selfless services they have provided for our country, oftentimes these servicemen and women have a difficult time adjusting to daily life after serving, which is why criminal defense attorney David Benowitz is excited to sponsor the 2019 Reindeer Romp 5K & 10K.

Proceeds from this event will benefit Operation Enduring Warrior (OEW), a veteran-founded and 100% volunteer-run nonprofit whose mission is to honor, empower, and motivate wounded military and public service veterans through physical, mental and emotional rehabilitation. Proceeds from the race will go towards the operational support of the organization and various rehabilitation programs.

The race will start at Fletcher’s Boathouse near the scenic Georgetown waterfront in Washington, D.C on December 21st at 8:00 AM. The flat path of the C&O canal makes this an ideal race for people with walkers, strollers, and leashed pets. Registration before November 30th is $25 for the 5K and $40 for the 10K. The cost of registration will increase by $5 after November 30th. Runners will receive a Finisher’s Challenger Coin, Technical (Drifit) Event Shirt, & A Chip Timed Event.

There will be no day of race registration because it is not allowed by the National Park Service, so be sure to register before the event. Join us on December 21st for a scenic run along the C&O canal! For more information on how to register for this event click here
