David Benowitz is a Washington, D.C. criminal lawyer with experience representing clients facing a wide range of different charges. Mr. Benowitz is a board-certified criminal trial advocate under the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

Mr. Benowitz graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with honors before graduating near the top of his class from the George Washington University School of Law. During his time in law school Mr. Benowitz was a regular member of the school’s law review and moot court society. He has since received an additional advanced degree in trial advocacy from Temple University. He began his career with the Public Defender Service of the District of Columbia before founding Price Benowitz, LLP.
Mr. Benowitz is a faculty member at Harvard Law School’s nationally-known Trial Advocacy Workshop, as well as a professorial lecturer in law at the George Washington University Law School. He is rated as one of the top 100 trial lawyers in Washington, D.C. by the National Trial Lawyers Association.
